Step 1: Free Pickup of Your Oriental Rugs 
Our company will come to your home to pick up your rug at no additional charge.

Note: Please have your rug prepared for pickup by having it accessible and rolled up.

Step 2: Dry Soil Removal
Woven rugs, especially hand knotted rugs are
designed to hide dry soil.  We use a variety of
techniques to “dust” the rugs from the front and
back. A machine called a pile lifter along with a  rug duster and special vacuum attachments and many other methods are implemented. This is the most important step in
cleaning any textile.

Step 3: Testing
Depending on fiber content and soiling type, along with testing of fibers and colors, we will determine which of our 5 different cleaning systems is best suited for your fine rug.

Step 4: Pre-Spot, Pre-Condition and Fringe Preparation
All rugs are treated to set colors and prevent any bleeding. Any potentially difficult spots will be pre-treated with special solutions to increase chances of removal.  The rug will be pre-treated to emulsify the soils.  The fringe is also pre-treated for maximum soil removal.

Step 5: Cleaning
Developed over 25 years and protected by trade secrets, your rugs are cleaned using one our proprietary systems which is especially designed to get maximum cleaning while protecting sensitive  colors and natural fibers.

Step 6: Rinse or Wash
Depending on the type of rug it will be rinsed with extraction equipment on both sides or washed in a wash pit designed especially for Oriental Rugs.

Step 7: Dry
Once the soil is rinsed away, the rug is dried flat or hung to dry in a controlled environment. Proper drying is essential to avoid unnatural shrinkage.

Step 8: Finishing
When the rug is dry, it is combed and finished with soft groomers made for specialty rugs.

Step 9: Post Inspection and Free Delivery
Our cleaning specialist will give the rug a final inspection and release it for delivery. Your rug will be wrapped to protect it from dust and environmental soils until it is delivered. 


  Available Treatments

  • A invisible protective coating can be applied to your area rugs which will  help minimize the possibility of future permanent staining.
  • We also offer many after care services such as deodorizing, mothproofing, anti-microbial treatment, and dust mite treatment.
  • Delivery is scheduled on a day and time range to suit your convenience.
  • If desired, at additional charge, our delivery crew will carefully spread your rug on your floor.
